outside at last!

Welcome to our jungle. There are so many trees here, plus huge shrubs. One aus2000 (duranta) is as high as the back of the house!
We have a variety of citrus, including orange, cumquat, lemons and one other that isn't fruiting. Several banana trees, a loquat, possibly a fig, peach, mulberry (yummo!), 2 macadamia nut trees, a misguided passionfruit vine (it's had to wend its way up a tree to find sunlight - we'll move this poor plant), and loads of weeds.
Also, 3 ponytails (one has a huge base), pink crepe myrtle, one plant I simply cannot remember the name of - mum, it looks like an ancient plant from dinosaur days. Has characteristics of the birds nest fern in that the leaves come up and out from a large centre, but the leaves are darker and quite firm. I'm sure it starts with C.

As well, various hibiscus, tonnes of durantas, bougainvillea, even a couple of roses. There's one of the red/pink leafed hibiscus (cannot find what it is called). A tall happy plant (as if there couldn't be), some sort of weird drain, the poor tortured acacia, piles of sticks in places, ferns, a little girl holding one spoilt chick, a tall struggling pawpaw, what may be a gorgeous orchid in a tree, and quite a few more! I have only uploaded a few photos.
